Weston Project
The objective for the Weston Project was to remodel the existing kitchen, create an eating area, enlarge the family room, relocate the washer and dryer, enlarge the master bedroom, build a new master bathroom and add closet space.
To achieve our goals we added a 27' full shed dormer to the front of the house and built an 18'x12' two-story addition to the rear. These additions to the house provided an extra 738 square feet of new living space, bringing the total amount of renovated space to 1500 square feet.
We created an 18'x27' family/eating area and enlarged the kitchen to accomodate a working island. We updated the kitchen with custom vanilla maple cabinets, a glass door hutch and recessed lighting. We laid hardwood floors throughout the entire first floor.
On the second floor we converted unused space and space added by the dormer into a laundry area with a large storage closet. We transformed an existing bedroom into an approximately 14'x24' master bedroom suite with full bath and 8'x12' walk-in closet. We installed a whirlpool and custom shower in the master bathroom.

Carlisle Project
We have completed four different projects at this home in Carlisle. We have modified an existing kitchen, added an additional bedroom, finished the basement and built a custom screened-in porch.
In the kitchen we added nine cabinets to create a 6'x4' island. We installed glass cabinetry with down lighting, a recycling center, a 36" subzero refrigerator with full panel fronts and a second wall oven cabinet. We replaced existing countertops with granite and added tile backsplash.
By renovating the basement we added 1200 square feet of living space to the house. We converted the space into a spare bedroom, a kids' study with three custom maple work stations, a 14'x22' family room and an office having 16' of built-in storage cabinets. In the lower hallway shown at the right we installed a 16' custom maple wall unit with down lighting for displaying art.
To complete the lower level we added a full bathroom with a custom round vanity, a tub/shower with ShowerLux door and a Runtel heating system. We tiled the floor and shower in red terra cotta.

Bedford Project
This two-story colonial home in Bedford formerly had an attached, converted breezeway and a one-car garage. We removed the breezeway and garage to construct a multi-story addition totaling 1700 square feet. We added a new 30' two-car plus garage with overhead storage space.
On the main floor we renovated the kitchen and added a 14'x22' family/eating area. We put a Marvin bay window over the kitchen sink so that natural light fills the room. The sink is a Kindred stainless steel fitted with Grohe fixtures. We installed custom vanilla maple cabinets and topped them with granite.
The family/eating area also brims with natural light since we installed a Marvin bow window and 6' Anderson French doors in that room. The doors open onto a 20'x16' mahogany deck fitted with custom benches.
We removed an old bedroom on the second floor and used the vacated space for the washer and dryer. We created an 11'x9' office and a new master bath-room. The master bath is 14'x22'. It has Anderson windows, velex skylights and a 12' Anderson double Frenchwood sliding door unit. The sliding door opens out onto a 4'x12' private balcony. The cathedral ceilings flow from the master bedroom to this master bathroom complete with venting skylight, one piece toilet and shower with custom built shower seat. To complete the suite we added a walk-in closet.

Lynnfield Project
Our client in Lynnfield had a Cape Cod home with a 12'x21' one-car garage, small mud room and a dining room which measured approximately 11'x13'. The family was growing and they needed to expand their living space. While renovations were underway, we re-roofed, re-sided, replaced all windows and coordinated installation of central air conditioning for the entire house.
We redesigned the existing space to create an open family room and dining area. We began by completely removing the old structure. When we rebuilt we added 24'x22' of space, blending it perfectly with the existing 40-year-old architecture.
The family and dining areas are divided by a single step. However, a 16' cathedral ceiling flows openly between the two rooms. We removed walls between the formal living room and the new space for even more openness. We added a 12'x5' covered farmer's just off the family room.
We enlarged the kitchen and added a breakfast bar, glass wall cabinets, a pantry, a recycling center and a new refrigerator with matching panels.
